Weekend Celeb Couple Sightings
Aside from Eva Longoria and Tony Parker who took advantage of the magic numbers 07/07/07, many couples all over the world head to their churches or congregations to tie the knot.
Eva Longoria and Tony Parker made it official. Before the big day, the mayor of Paris Bertrand Delanoë officiated the couple’s civil wedding. Eva was seen wearing a Chanel pink minidress with black trim outside before she changed it to a white dress once she was inside the building.
According to USA Today:
The ceremony was in French and English, and in a twist, Parker said his vows in English, while Longoria spoke hers in French, OK! says on its website. But she broke into giggles when she struggled to pronounce poverty in French: pauvreté.
The extravagance of the couple’s wedding went beyond the gifts for the female guests receiving an 18K-yellow gold bracelets from Van Cleef & Arpels’ Sweet Alhambra range, with a miniature mother-of-pearl clover charm, and a custom shade of L’Oreal Paris lipstick called Pink Romance. While Eva’s bridesmaids got Rafe Swarovski snakeskin clutches that is worth $395 each to match their robes. Whoa!
Guests include Eva’s costars in “Desperate Housewives” Felicity Huffman and husband William Macy, Teri Hatcher and daughter Emerson Rose, Victoria Beckham, any many more.
Members of the Police, Sting’s wife Trudie Styler attended the brunch hosted by Al and Tipper Gore in their home in New York last weekend. Yes, you don’t believe it but Al Gore’s wife, Tipper, got to hobnob with some of the musicians whose albums she and her group, Parents Music Resource Center, have censored. Yes again, she is one of the four women who was reponsible of introducing the Parental Advisory sticker, also known as the Tipper sticker. Can’t you believe this is one of the many reasons the recent Live Earth concert is a phony?
Ryan Cabrera who is dating Elvis Presley’s granddaughter and model Riley Keogh since July last year have been spotted at Aura Nightclub at Atlantis in Paradise Island, Bahamas. Ryan has been linked to The Veronicas’ Lisa Origliasson and Ashlee Simpson. Riley’s father is Lisa Marie’s first husband Danny Keogh, a musician.
The ever-present folks at the Flynet caught up with the TV host Ellen Degeneres and her girlfriend Portia Di Rossi. They were caught coming out from Pace a cosy restaurant in West Hollywood.
Another famous gay celeb Elton John and hubby David Furnish attended a nobleman’s tribute to summer, Sir David Frost’s Summer Party, last Thursday in London. Other guests included Mr. Bean, Rowan Atkinson and wife Sunetra Sastry, whom he met during the shooting of “Black Adder.”
Lastly, they are not exactly a couple. But Bono, a.k.a. Paul Hewson, and the Edge, David Evans, have been together since 1976. And my god, they are still going strong! I mean, seriously!
