Wedding bells for Nicole Richie and Joel Madden?
Socialite Nicole Richie, 25, and her musician boyfriend Joel Madden of the band Good Charlotte, 28, might hit the church soon. But they are not hurrying. According to Joel, there is no need to worry but right now, the priority is the baby.
He disclosed to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show Tuesday that “marriage is part of his “master plan.”
“Obviously, marriage is in our future. I don’t know when or where or how, but right now our priority is our family and is the baby. That’s all we’ve been thinking about. We are in love and are really happy.”
Though the young parents are excited of this prospect he admitted that having a child is “the best thing that has ever happened to us. It’s awesome.”
Joel also mentioned that they don’t know yet the gender of his incoming brood.
“No, we are waiting. We don’t even know. So right now it’s an it. Which sounds wrong. We call it the baby. When we talk to it, it’s a you.”
As the couple gets ready to accumulate gadgets for the baby’s nursery, he also mentioned that it has started kicking. His twin brother Benji, by the way, is impressed with the couple’s way of coping with the new situation.
“They are doing really good. They always know what stage they are at.”
Sounds like one happy family.
