Now that the chaos and madness surrounding the 79th Annual Film Academy Awards is finally wearing out, I’d like to present to you the prettiest and loveliest couples in the Tinseltown as collected by yours truly!

Adrien Brody, who won a best actor award for his portrayal of the celebrated Polish pianist Władysław Szpilman trapped in the ravages of World war II, with his girlfriend Elsa Pataky caught at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. He’s lovely, not to mention talented too, and so is she.

New Bond Daniel Craig with amour the producer Satsuki Mitchell. Although I am not particularly excited about his Bond version he certainly made a character out of the English Jesuit priest John Ballard who would assassinate Elizabeth I from the film “Elizabeth”. In spite of the attention he gets from his latest flick, looks like he and Satsuki are doing very good.

Eddie Murphy with current girlfriend Tracey E. Edmonds keeping their cool as they waited for the ceremony. He didn’t win the award but is he finally going to admit that he is the father of Mel B’s, aka Spicey Spice, unborn child?


Alley McBeal graduate Portia de Rossi and Ellen de Generes, who hosted the ceremony, have taken the road together since 2004.

Best actor for this year went to Forest Whitaker who was seen together with his wife Keisha.

Singer Gwen Stefani and rocker husband Gavin Rossdale showed up at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party mingling with other stars. Hopefully, son Kingston James was sleeping soundly while his ma and pa were partying.

Best Actress awardee Helen Mirren cuddling with husband Taylor Hackford. The half Russian actress is getting what she deserves after many years of hard work. It wasn’t a long time ago when I saw her dancing with Mikhail Baryshnikov from the film “White Nights.”

What could possily be the lovelier picture than an image of a family having fun together? Will Smith, Jada Pinkett and Jaden. Will was nominated for best actor but left empty-handed. Still he has his family rooting for him. Though a recent newsbit from Gala magazine that the couple doesn’t mind an open relationship.
