Yes, ladies and gents. Kate Hudson has a new boyfriend and the two are enjoying their togetherness. Funny man Dax Shepard, who often plays loser in the movies, has reportedly moved in with Kate. And he doesn’t look like the loser next door.
It was claimed that Kate’s stepdad, Kurt Russell, introduced that actor to Kate in June. Kurt has been worried about her stepdaughter ever since her painful divorce with Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson and her topsy-turvy affair with the comedian Owen Wilson. a source told
“Kurt promised Kate it would get better, that happiness was around the corner. It looks like he was right. Kate is delighted! It’s summer love at its best, and she’s thrilled to be with someone who is making her heart beat faster. Kurt first met Shepard a few months ago and instantly thought he’d be a perfect match for Kate. Kurt took a liking to Dax because he’s a good ol’ boy from the Midwest who Kurt thinks is trustworthy and reliable…”
Still, some people are skeptic saying the young actress hardly has any time for her son, Ryder Russell Robinson, every time she is involved with someone. Who are these people is complete unknown. If it is Kate’s immediate family then it is a bit ironic, if I may say so.
“Dax is basically living at her house right now. The rest of her family is a little annoyed,” a source in the know told the New York Post newspaper, adding that “Kate gets a little more distracted when new men come into her life.”
The actress’ representative disagreed: “None of what you’re speculating here is accurate.”
In fact, Kate’s former husband thinks otherwise. The singer “is said to feel ‘thrilled’ about her new romance with Shepard because it provides him with more time to spend with his three-year-old son Ryder.”
“Chris is thrilled because now he can have Ryder whenever he wants,” the source went on saying.
The two went on to divorce on November 18 last year, citing irreconcilable differences. During that time the actress was rumoured to have dating Owen, her co-star in the 2006 comedy film “You, Me and Dupree.”
Finally on June 5 this year, after an off again and on again relationship, the two called it quits.
