Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s household
Surely, the fans won’t find Gwyneth Paltrow, 34, treading the red carpet with musician husband Chris Martin, the 29-year-old singer-frontman of Coldplay.
According to VH1, they are the anthithesis of a prominent couple. Chris lets Gwyneth attend ceremonies and official functions that have got to do with show business alone. You could say that he isn’t complicated and not at all amazed with the circus surrounding Hollywood. In turn, Gwyneth doesn’t mind braving the flashes coming from the photographers all by herself.
The paparazzi must have a field day spotting the two together but official photo shoots of the two would be Gwyneth facing the spotlight and hubby Chris trailing behind, almost like a bystander.
Gwyn thinks being a housewife requires “24 hours a days, seven days a week and they want you present and real and connected and there” but says proudly of her little family “the best three years of my life.”
Her kids, Apple, who turns 3 in May, and Moses, 11 months old even though oblivious to their parents’ fame get to interact with other celebrity children.
A recent interview with the Spanish Vogue via People reveals her children’s playmates: “I have friends like Stella McCartney or Madonna, and very often our children get together to play. Although usually we leave them in bed and stay to drink a glass of wine.”
But don’t be mistaken. Once in a while she misses her place in Hollywood and aches to go back to work too. “I’m really looking forward to it as an artist and as somebody who that part of me has been dormant for a long time.” She admits to Oprah Winfrey’s show.
On the other hand, hubby Chris who with his band was touring South America. The recent controversy regarding the concert tickets prices somewhat became a fuss. Gala magazine Germany reported that the horrendous ticket price (converted to 122€) is more than a quarter of the average monthly wages in Chile. The singer, who engages himself with social organisations like Make Trade Fair propagating the use of trade fair in developing countries, made a public apology yet sort of of late.
“We just found out how expensive the tickets are. We would like to say that we are sorry. Truly the price is embarrassing. If you belong to a popular band there are things that happen beyond your control.”
Reduction of ticket prices was only valid in the remaining concerts in Brazil and Mexico.
So now you know how the celebrities spend their “simple” everday lives.
