Wow, Jon Gosselin, the Dad of 8 kids who stars in the reality show “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ can’t seem to stay out of the gossip news headlines. Perhaps it’s because nobody, especially “Jon and Kate” fans can believe his recent playboy behavior.

Less than one month after filing for divorce from wife Kate Gosselin, Jon Gosselin has already began dating, and even cheating on other women. This past week his 22-year-old party girlfriend, Hailey Glassman, told the media about their relationship and even said that he was a “perfect fit” because her family approved of Jon.

While Hailey Glassman dreamed of being with her new boyfriend and enjoyed all of the media attention, including being featured in this week’s issue of “People” magazine, it doesn’t look like Jon was thinking too much about her.

When pretty, blond haired, “Star” magazine reporter Kate Major approached Jon Gosselin for interview around five days ago, sparks flew, and the two immediately began a relationship. Unfortunately for Hailey Glassman Jon forgot to mention that he began dating someone new and according to rumors Glassman was shocked and crushed when she heard the news from reporters.

Jon Gosselin is sure enjoying the single life, hanging out with pretty girls, not to mention celebrities like Michael Lohan (Lindsay Lohan’s father) and “Real Housewives of New York City” star Jill Zarin.

Kate Gosselin can’t be too happy with Jon’s recent endeavors, while he’s out and about she’s at home with the children. Hopefully when “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ resumes filming this August they’ll leave out all of Jon’s girlfriends.

Six months after singer Chris Brown assaulted his girlfriend Rihanna he’s come forward to make a candid public apology. Chris Brown made an apology video and posted it online and says that he remained silent for so long on the advisement of his lawyers.

The Chris Brown apology seems sincere enough but to wait so long before admitting doing anything wrong makes it harder to have sympathy for the star. After seeing the brutal Rihanna photographs after she was beaten the night before the Grammy Awards it’s hard to feel sorry for Chris Brown in any way.

I’m wondering why Chris Brown’s lawyers would advise him to keep quiet for this long. It seems a bit strange to me. He should have apologized six months ago, or at the very least after his court case was through.

29 year-old Richard Jefferson, an NBA basketball player had a serious case of “cold feet” when he decided to ditch his own wedding to Kesha Ni’Cole Nicols. The San Antonio Spurs team member did the unthinkable after changing his mind about getting married.

The posh 2 million dollar wedding was never canceled and confused guests arrived only to find out that Richard Jefferson had changed his mind. According to various news reports Richard Jefferson let the bride know it was over just before the wedding day, but Kesha Ni’Cole Nichols has yet to make a public statement on whether or not she was informed she was being dumped before her big day.

Kesha Ni’Cole Nichols is likely devastated, having her heartbroken in the worst way. The beautiful ex-Net dancer will have no trouble finding a new man to fill Richard Jefferson’s shoes, that is, if she can ever trust a man again!

Jon Gosselin didn’t waste any time after beginning divorce precedings just weeks ago, while Kate Gosselin was home with the kids Jon was spotted on vacation in St. Tropez with his brand new 22-year-old girlfriend Hailey Glassman.

Instead of choosing a girlfriend that would be a positive role model for his 8 children, he’s hanging around a girl who is known for her wild partying during her two years at University.

RadarOnline has photos of Hailey’s wild party days which include drinking and possibly drugs,  Hailey Glassman was even arrested for possession of marjiuana. Although Jon Gosselin has repeatedly told the media that he “puts his children first” Hailey Glassman isn’t exactly potential step-mother material.

Hailey Glassman is the daughter of the plastic surgeon who performed Kate Gosselin’s tummy tuck after she had the sextuplets. The Glassman’s ended up becoming friends with the Gosselins.

I used to feel a bit sorry for Jon Gosselin at one point, but now I think he’s just an idiot, and here’s why:

1) Parades around a new girlfriend just weeks after divorce announcement, even though he knows the world views him as a family man.

2) Chooses a girlfriend 10 years younger with a bad reputation, which is not a good choice for a father of 8.

3) Starts dating a girl that Kate has known for years as a family friend. (which means Kate and Jon likely would have met her when she was a teenager). That’s just so tacky.

Obviously Jon Gosselin isn’t a great decision maker, if he were perhaps he’d realize that there are plenty of “decent” beautiful women available that aren’t college age? I’m feeling more and more sorry for the Gosselin kids each day.

Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo have broken up and news reports are saying that it’s Tony Romo that initiated the break-up. According to People.com Tony Romo dumped longtime girlfriend Jessica Simpson last week, the night before her 29th birthday.

The couples sudden split comes as a bit of shock because they seemed to be happy and in love. In the July 1, 2009 picture above Jessica Simpson, 29, and Tony Romo, 29, look like they are getting along great but apparently their relationship hasn’t been going as perfectly as it appears to outsiders.

People.com’s inside source revealed that Jessica Simpson loves Tony and is heartbroken by the break-up. Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson have been having a difficult time lately, especially with Romo’s hectic career and Jessica being busy with the upcoming  filming of  her new reality show “The Price Of Beauty” which will premiere in 2010.

Whatever the reason for their break-up, Tony Romo didn’t seem to be too unhappy while he partied at Hollywood’s “MyHouse” with a large group of his guy friends on Jessica Simpson’s birthday, Friday, July 10.

Jessica Simpson had been planning a “Barbie and Ken” themed birthday party but the day after her birthday, July 11, 2009 she sent out a Tweet message on Twitter saying:

“Barbie party didn’t happen, but I turned 29 and feel like I am on top of the world yelling I LOVE GETTING OLDER!”

On Sunday July 12, 2009 Jessica sent out another insightful Twitter Tweet that showed her current state of optimism saying:

“Everyone needs to know that hope floats … grab the strings and pull it back to you.”

Strangely enough, Jessica Simpson’s ex-husband Nick Lache, 35, also went through a public break-up this summer with girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo, 28.

The summer of 2009 has brought and unusually high amount of celebrity deaths and celebrity break-ups. It definitely doesn’t seem like a very good summer for the superstars. Hopefully Jessica Simpson will have better luck with her next relationship.

According to People.com Jon and Kate Gosselin have officially filed for a divorce at a Courthouse in Doylestow, Pa. The divorce papers were filed today, Monday June 22, 2009, the same day that the Jon & Kate Plus 8 “special announcement” show is scheduled to air.

The commercial promoting the big announcement show has gloom and doom written all over it, so it won’t be much of a surprise to viewers if the Gosselin’s officially announce that they are divorcing this evening during the hour long episode of the show.

The Gosselins have gone through the tabloid ringer over the past few months which has led to speculation that they were heading for a divorce. The couple who once had some on screen chemistry now seem uncaring and distant, barely even looking at one another when they are together.

Although Kate and Jon Gosselin have been experiencing relationship problems for quite a while now it wasn’t until May 2009 that they publicly announced they were having marital difficulties. The couple came clean about their problems shortly after Jon Gosselin was caught with Deanna Hummel, the 23-year-old woman whom he’s been accused of having an affair with.

Next it was Kate who was accused of having an affair with her personal bodyguard, a rumor that she’s continuously denied over the past couple of months.

We’ll have to wait until tonight’s episode of “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ to find out if a divorce is what the two will be announcing but after People.com’s report I would be surprised if Jon and Kate’s announcement is anything other than the two officially splitting.

Update - June 23 2009 - The Gosselin’s announced during their Monday night show that they are separating and that divorce papers have been filed.

After five years of married life Billy Joel and wife number three, Katie Lee Joel are ending their marriage. According to recent rumors the couples separation is an amicable one and the two are planning on remaining friendly. Katie Lee, a food critic, chef, and TV host is 32 years younger than Billy, when they married the couples extravagent wedding made headlines.

There hasn’t been any official reason given for the break-up but I’m guessing that compatibility might be a factor since  Katie Lee is 27 and Billy Joel is 60 years-old. Seriously, how much could the two have in common? I’m betting that Billy Joel will eventually move on to yet another gorgeous wife, but he’s probably going to miss Katie Lee’s special skills in the kitchen.

Rumor has it that 32-year-old James William Van Der Beek Jr. and his wife 32-year-old actress Heather McComb have separated. It was James Vander Beek’s representative that alerted the media to the separation and impending divorce of the once happy couple. The separation occurred around two months ago and the couple who has no children have remained friends.

James Van Der Beek is well known for his portrayal of Dawson Leery on the television series “Dawson’s Creek.” Vanderbeek married Heather McComb on July 2003 in Malibu after the shows final season.

Heather McComb has been acting since the age of 2 and has appeared in over a dozen films including “Don’s Plum” and “Shark Swam.” Over the past decade McComb has made numerous television appearances on hit TV shows such as “CSI,” “Without a Trace,”  and “Prison Break.”

Both James Van Der Beek and Heather McComb practice the Kabbalah faith and are regular visitors to the Kabbalah Centre. Some other celebrities who practice the Kabbalah faith include Madonna, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, and Naomi Campbell.

Unlike most celebrities these days Vander Beek and McComb did not marry on a whim. They enjoyed a 17-month long engagement and held a romantic outdoor ceremony and reception with 120 guests. Several of James Van Der Beek’s “Dawson’s Creek” co-stars were in attendance. On screen love interest “Michelle Williams” and “Dawson Leery’s” screen mom “Mary-Margaret Humes” were there to share the special day.

Heather McComb and James Van Der Beek had separate wedding cakes that reflected their very different tastes. At the time of their wedding some journalists joked that the separate cakes were a sign of future marital problems.

Bar Refaeli is a 24-year-old model and is likely far more ready to settle down than 34-year-old DiCaprio. Mike Tyson and Lakiha Spicer lost their 4-year-old daughter two weeks ago to a tragic accident. Their young daughter was accidentally strangled to death after she became caught in a treadmill. Mike Tyson and his longtime partner Lakiha decided to marry in Las Vegas at the La Bella Chapel. The ceremony was a quiet one without any guests. The couple also has a 7-year-old boy Miguel Tyson together.

Last but not least, what would this crazy celebrity couple week be without the pregnant man giving birth to his second child this morning. That`s right Thomas Beattie welcomed a healthy baby boy into his unique family. Thankfully the second time around he didn`t make any major television appearances, at least not yet anyway.

37-year-old champion cyclist Lance Armstrong is finally revealing what exactly led to the break-up between he and girlfriend Sheryl Crow, 47. In his new book “Lance” he talks about Cheryl Crow wanting to marry and have children but he just wasn’t ready to begin a new family at the time.

The couple even went to counselling at the time to try to work things out but the two were at different places in their lives and wanted very different things. Lance Armstrong’s latest “tell all” book will be out this July 2009.

Lance Armstrong married his ex-wife Kirsten Richards on May 1, 1998. The couple had three children together, a boy named Luke, and a set of twins, Isabelle and Grace.  The marriage ended when they filed for divorce in 2003 and Armstrong began dating Sheryl Crow around that same time period.

Sheryl Crow and Lance Armstrong became engaged to married in 2005 and to everyone’s surprise broke up in February 2006. Fans of Armstrong and Crow were shocked by the sudden split because the couple seemed to be so much in love.

After the break-up Lance Armstrong dated fashion designer Tory Burch and actress Kate Hudson. In December of 2008 Armstrong announced that his girlfriend Anna Hansen was pregnant. Lance Armstrong believed he wasn’t able to conceive children naturally because of the cancer treatments he’s received in the past. The “miracle baby” is due in June 2009.

Sheryl Crow publicly announced that she adopted  a baby boy she named Wyatt Steven Crow on May 11, 2007. Wyatt was born on April 29, 2007. She and her son live on a farm near Nashville, Tennessee and the singer remains single.  I’m curious to know what Sheryl Crow thinks about her ex’s book and the fact he’s including her personal information in it.

Paula Abdul is opening up about her pain killer addiction in an upcoming magazine article according to CNN.com. To anyone who’s watched Paula Abdul on television working as a judge on American Idol it’s likely not a big surprise to find out that she was suffering from some sort of addiction problem.

Last year on American Idol Paul Abdul made headlines several times for her wacky comments and bizarre behavior and was even caught on video tape slurring her words in one interview that ended up on the video sharing site You Tube.

46-year-old Paula Abdul is in chronic pain due to a series of unfortunate accidents. Paula’s chronic injuries began at the young age of 17 when she was badly injured in a Cheerleading accident. The star has sought out different types of treatments to deal with the severe pain and to be able to function in her day to day life, it’s a very sad situation.

According to Abdul she has conquered her addiction since spending time in a rehab center in the fall of 2008. But I can’t help but notice that in 2009 she still seems a bit shaky when trying to give her opinion on an American Idol performance. Perhaps it’s due to the actual pain she is in.

Paula Abdul has had to face more than just chronic pain and pain killer addiction,  recently she also had to deal with the unstable stalker, Paula Goodspeed who unsuccessfully auditioned on American Idol in season 5 of the show. Goodspeed ended up taking her own life outside of Paula Abdul’s home in November 2008.

As for her love life, Paula Addul was dating J.T. Torregiani up until their break-up in June 2008, and as far as I know Paula is still single and searching for the right man.

Lindsay Lohan appeared on today’s April 23, 2009 “Ellen Degeneres Show” where she shared her feelings on her recent break-up with girlfriend Samantha Ronson (a.k.a. D.J. Sam).

According to Lohan, Ronson didn’t really break-up with her but basically just suddenly disappeared from her life after their last big argument. There was no official break-up but it’s pretty apparent that Samantha Ronson is moving on with her life without Lindsay Lohan.

Lindsay has been handling the very public break-up just fine and is staying positive. She’s also been handling the endless tabloid reports with grace and has even used the break-up to show her fun and humorous side by posting an “eHarmony” parody video online.

During her interview with Ellen Degeneres, Lohan mentioned that she still hopes her and Sam will get back together down the road. But I’m pretty sure that Lohan fans everywhere are hoping that these two will not reunite. A cute couple for a fling maybe but for a long term relationship Lindsay could raise the bar a tad, don’t you think? After all she’s a very talented actress and let’s not forget gorgeous too.

Comedian and talk show host Ellen Degeneres understands what Lindsay Lohan is going through right now because she’s been there herself. In 2000 Ellen’s girlfriend Anne Heche broke up with her and later married cameraman Coley Laffoon. The tabloids couldn’t get enough of Ellen’s break-up with the Soap Opera actress and Ellen took three years away from her career and the glare of the spotlight until things settled down and she felt together again.

Lindsay Lohan hasn’t decided to take time away from her career or even the paparazzi but instead she wants to continue to focus on her work as a producer and get back into her acting career once again.

After nearly two weeks in seclusion singer Rihanna was seen by photographers the day after her 21st birthday in Los Angeles. Rihanna’s family in Barbados took out a newspaper ad wishing her a happy birthday despite the recent problems Rihanna has been experiencing with Chris Brown.

Although Rihanna has not spoken publicly about her brutal assault, relationship with Chris Brown, or the private police photo that was leaked on to the Inernet, she did release the following statement:

“At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown,” says the statement from her rep on Friday. “She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time.”

After spending her teenage years rising to the top of the music industry this has to be one of the most challenging times Rihanna’s had to face. Not only does she have to deal with her feelings for Chris Brown and being a victim of domestic assault but she has to go through it all while the world watches. I can’t even imagine the depth of embarassment the star felt when she learned that her police photo went public.

Rihanna always the performer spent her childhood dreaming of becoming a superstar, her life was not easy, her father was addicted to crack cocaine and she suffered from unbearable headaches as a child and after years of testing she was told it was due to stress.

Since becoming famous Rihanna has worked with many different charitable organizations raising money for cancer, AIDS, and UNICEF. She also created her own charity the “Believe Foundation.”

I think everyone is hoping that Rihanna comes out of this scandal a stronger women and will finally find the peace and happiness that she deserves.

Reality television star Khloe Kardashian 24,  has broken up with boyfriend Rashad McCants, 24, a NBA basketball player. Khloe decided to blog about the break-up online on her website saying that the split is mutual and is due to their hectic schedules.

Khloe Kardashian has starred in the reality television shows “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” and “Celebrity Apprentice.” As well as appearing on television she also runs a high end clothing store called DASH in Los Angeles which she runs with her sisters Kim and Kourtney.

Khloe’s sister Kim Kardashian recently stood up for Jessica Simpson publicly after the media posted articles about Simpson’s weight gain. Khloe does not fit the image of the size zero Hollywood star but is completely comfortable with the size of her body and recently bared it all when she posed for a sexy PETA advertisement. The young star doesn’t seem too down about the break-up, since splitting with Rashad she’s been going out and having some single girl fun.

Prince Harry, 24, and his girlfriend Chelsy Davy, 23, have ended their relationship after five years of dating. According to recent news reports the break-up was mutual and there are several possible reasons for the sudden split.

Davy who is a student at Leeds University could be growing tired of her boyfriends flirtatious escapades that have been featured in the press over the years. Or it could be that Chelsy Davy is longing to return to her home of Zimbabwe and doesn’t see a future with the Prince.

At the same time Prince Harry is focused on his career in the military and that is his main concern in life right now. Some believe that this young couple is destined to reunite down the road when life’s circumstances make a committed relationship a better possibility. For now the two are attempting to remain friends.
