36 year-old beauty, Jennifer Garner has given birth to her second child, a baby girl, on January 6, 2009. Happy couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner also have a 3 year-old daughter Violet. So far the Affleck and Garner family are keeping the newborn’s name and birth weight to themselves. Fans are curious to find out what the couple has decided to name their new daughter but will just have to wait until their ready for an announcement.

Jennifer Garner, 36, and Ben Affleck, 36, have been married since 2005. This is Affleck’s first marriage and Garner’s second. Both actors have film projects in the works for 2009. Affleck will be starring in “State of Play” and Garner in the movie “The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.”

Georgeous actress and model Rebecca Romijn and husband Jerry O’Connell are the proud parents of newborn twin girls born on December 28 2008. According to People.com the baby girls are named Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip and both mom and babies are doing well.

Jerry O’Connell and Rebecca Romijn married in California on July 14, 2007. Romijn was married once before to actor John Stamos between 1997 and 2005. This is the first marriage for O’Connell. After the couple found out they were pregnant with twins they let the media know that it was a natural event and not a result of fertility drugs.

Rebecca Romijn, 36, is known for her recurring role of character “Alexis Meade”  on the hit television series “Ugly Betty” but will be taking some time off from her career to enjoy motherhood. Jerry O’Connell, 34, has been working on the film “Obsessed” which will be released in the spring of 2009.

40 year-old “Gossip Girl” actress Kelly Rutherford filed for divorce on December 30 2008. Rutherford is married to successful European entrepreneur Daniel Giersch and is currently three months pregnant. The couple also has a 2 year-old son together.

Kelly Rutherford has played acting roles on “Melrose Place,” “Generations,” and plays the role of Lily van der Woodsen on the television teen drama series “Gossip Girl.” She was married once before to Carlos Tarajano from 2001 to 2002.

I’m wondering if the holiday season has something to do with the many December 2008 celebrity break ups. I’m hoping that in this case the couple will somehow work things out before it’s too late. From the outside looking in they look like such an ideal family but Kelly Rutherford listed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for divorce so who knows. Hopefully they will at least remain friends for the sake of parenting their two children.

Actress Naomi Watts, 40 and actor partner Liev Schreiber, 41 welcomed their second child into the world on Saturday, December 13, 2008. The baby boy has an older brother named Alexander Pete Schreiber born in 2007. Watts and Schreiber have been a happy couple since 2005. 24-year-old singer Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has given birth to her first child. The baby boy named Bronx Mowgli Wentz was born on Thursday November 20 at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz, 29 have been waiting patiently during the long pregnancy and had even considered inducing labor in the final weeks.

Both mom and baby are doing well and Bronx Wentz was born weighting a healthy 7 pounds, 11 ounces and a lengthy 20 1/2 inches.

Ashlee Simpson’s latest album is titled “Bittersweet World” and was released in 2008. It will be interesting to see the affect that motherhood will have on her future musical projects.

Saturday Night Live comedian Amy Poehler, 37, gave birth to a baby boy on Saturday October 25. The baby was named Archie Arnett and weighed in at a healthy 8 lbs., 1oz.

Amy Poehler is well knows for her funny Saturday Night Live characters, Sally Needler, Netti Bo Dance, and White Trash Wife, just to name a few. She is married to Canadian born Will Arnett who stars in the television series “Arrested Development.” The comedic couple has been dating since 2000 and has worked together on occasion in hit comedies such as “Blades Of Glory” and “Horton Hears a Who!”

Poehler’s upcoming projects are ” A Snow White Boxer Movie” scheduled for release in 2009 and “Hoodwinked 2: Hood vs. Evil” in 2010.

Will Arnett is currently working on “Space Invader” and “We’re the Millers” which are now in production.

After John Mayer told Jennifer Anniston he wasn’t ready to settle down it didn’t look like the two stars had a future together. Anniston heartbroken by the split went on with her life, having fun in the sun on the beach and spending time with friends.

But after Jenn made a series of mysterious heartwrenching phone calls to her ex he suddenly came around, even trying to win back her love by writing her a love song. He’s now changed his attitude and promised to settle down and commit. Something he wasn’t willing to before the break up. Looks like he missed Jennifer Anniston enough to change his gigilo ways.

Their reunion has sparked rumors that Anniston is pregnant with Mayer’s baby. It could be true sure, but there’s no real evidence of a baby to be, other than Jennifer covering her tummy with a sweater as photograpers snapped pictures of her recently. Not enough evidence of a pregnancy if you ask me.

It could be that perhaps musician John Mayer learned his lesson, if he doens’t make a commitment Jenn will move on with someone who will!

Angelina Jolie sat down for a revealing interview on the Today Show where she talked about her new movie “The Changeling,” her love for her family (including Brad Pitt), and her plans to adopt another child when the time is right.

The 33-year-old mom of 6 looks amazing and I’m looking forward to seeing her in “The Changeling” which is scheduled to open across North America on October 31, 2008.

Lisa Marie Presley gave birth to twins on Tuesday October 7, 2008. Word of the double delivery didn’t hit the media until this weekend.

Presley’s husband Michael Lockwood, 47 and Lisa Marie, 40 tried to keep the pregnancy quiet and away from the tabloids for as long as possible, and the couple succeeded up until the end of the pregnany.

Lisa Marie Presley has two teenage children ages 15 and 19 with ex-husband Danny Keough. Mother and babies are healthy and resting at home. You can read further details on this story at People.com.

Minnie Driver has given birth to her first child who she named Henry Story Driver. The 38-year-old actress gave birth to the baby boy on Friday, September 5, 2008.

Driver is keeping the identity of the child’s father a secret but has said her will take part in Henry’s life. It’s also unknown whether or not the father and Minnie Driver are in a relationship. The public may never know the details since Minnie Driver is full of secrets!

I must say that it’s refreshing to hear that a superstar has chosen a nice traditional name for their baby! Good choice Minnie!

Martie Maguire, 38, of the popular group Dixie Chicks gave birth to her third child today, Harper Rosie Maguire.

The healthy baby girl weighed 7 lb., 10 oz. at birth and is welcomed by twin sisters Kathleen and Eva. Martie and husband Gareth, 33, are happy to have a new addition to their growing family.

The twins have arrived, and this time around it’s more than just a rumor. Angelina’s doctor himself has made a statement announcing the newborn twins born Saturday July 12, at 8pm. Angelina and Brad are welcoming baby boy Knox Leon and baby girl Vivienne Marcheline. Angelina had a planned C-Section in a hospital in France and the babies birth weight was 5.02 pounds (Vivienne) and 5 pounds (Knox).

Of course every media outlet in the U.S. is fighting for the first photographs of the twins. Brad and Angelina will likely strike a magazine photo deal that will give them millions, all which they will donate to their charities to improve the lives of others.
