Kevin Jonas, 21,  from the “Jonas Brothers” band asked his girlfriend of two years Danielle Deleasa to marry him on July 1, 2009. Deleasa, 22, said yes but there’s been no official wedding plans made just yet.

Many busy music and television stars meet the love of their lives while at work, but not in Kevin Jonas’ case. He saw Danielle Deleasa, who worked as a hairdresser, walking along a beach with a flower in her hair and it was love at first sight. The couple began dating shortly afterwards, and the rest is history.

Kevin’s parents approve of the engagement, saying that “their hearts are filled with joy” and that “it’s a blessing that she will be joining our family.”

Kevin Jonas is preparing to lose his “purity ring” as his fiance Danielle has gained a gorgeous ring featuring 210 round pave diamonds. The engagement ring was specially designed by Kevin Jonas.

This means that there is one less Jonas brother for fans to dream of marrying, but all of Danielle Deleasa’s dreams are coming true, how many women can say that their future husband was one People magazine’s choices for “sexiest men alive” in 2008? Now that’s hot!

Some guys just get all the breaks! 62-year-old Cheech Marin (originally named Richard Marin) is officially engaged to the super sexy and talented Natasha Rubin, a Russian pianist who attended a special music school for gifted children.

Cheech Marin has been busy working on his 2009 movies “Expecting a Miracle” and the family movie “Race To Witch Mountain” in which he plays the character of Eddie, he’s also been spending time touring.

Marin has been married twice before, he wed Rikki Marin in 1975 and divorced in 1984, the couple have one child together. He married again in 1986 to Patti Heid and the two  had 2 children together before divorcing.

Natasha Rubin and Cheech Marin have been happily dating for quite a while now, a lengthy 4 1/2 years. Congratulations to the happy couple and their upcoming wedding!

24-year-old singer Mandy Moore just became engaged to Rocker Ryan Adams, 34. The couple has not been dating long. Mandy Moore’s latest CD “Amanda Leigh” will be released May 26, 2009. Ryan Adams is busy singer, songwriter, and author. Congratulations to the musical couple on their plans to wed!

Actress Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy first met on the movie set of “Evening” and later began a romance that has lasted over a year. Now the talented couple is ready to take the big plunge and make their union official. A reprersentive for the actors told the media this week that the couple is now engaged to be married.

29-year-old Claire Danes has previously dated singer Ben Lee and actor Matt Damon, and is currently working on the 2009 films “Me and Orson Welles” and “Temple Grandin Thinking In Pictures.”

British actor Hugh Dancy once dated U.K. book illustrator Annie Morris and as well  working hard on his acting career he’s also been busy with magazine photo shoots and interviews.

There’s no word yet on what kind of wedding the couple is planning, will it be a big celebrity bash or will the two plan a quiet ceremony?

Rumors of a romantic engagement between football quarterback Tom Brady and sexy supermodel Gisele Bundchen have been spreading like wildfire over the Christmas holidays. But Brady’s family say that the Christmas Eve engagement is nothing more than a rumor, and denies that the couple is engaged to be married.

Internet rumors begin out of nowhere all of the time, usually as a publicity stunt to boost a stars career or by a gossip magazine or website trying to draw in more visitors. But the details of this couple’s engagement were so detailed it makes me wonder whether or not there isn’t at least a bit of truth to this story. Otherwise whoever made up the story sure has a romantic imagination which included Brady proposing while the couple were on a private plane surrounded by white roses and champagne. According to People.com the engagement story began on celebrity gossip site TMZ. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if Gisele will be sporting an engagement ring in the New Year.

23-year-old Playboy Playmate Kendra Wilkinson may have left her 82-year-old boyfriend Hugh Hefner for 26-year-old Philadelphia Eagle wide receiver Hank Baskett but Hefner is still a big part of her life.

53-year-old Eddie Van Halen has become engaged to Lisa Liszewski, 38 who is his publicist. Although Van Halen proposed romantically in tropical Hawaii this August, the news of their engagement only recently became public when printed online at People magazine.

Eddie Van Halen has a teenage son together with ex-wife Valerie Bertinelli, 48, who has been featured in Jenny Craig commercials as a spokesperson while losing weight with the program. Bertinelli is currently working on a book documenting her recent weight loss journey and is in a relationship with boyfriend, Tom Vitale. Valerie Bertinelli and Eddie Van Halen have maintained a peaceful relationship since divorcing.

Miley Cyrus performs in New York for NBC’s Today Show on July 25th. The superstar teen has dumped her boyfriend Thomas Sturges. According to one magazine it was the recent photo scandals that caused the break-up. The parents of the young couple were not too happy with the touchy feely pictures of Miley and Thomas that surfaced on the Internet, and Disney probably wasn’t too happy about it either. Miley has decided that for now she doesn’t want a boyfriend.

Actress and fashion model Uma Thurman is getting ready to get hitched for the third time. The 38-year-old mother of two has become engaged to Arpad Arki Busson, a Swiss millionaire with two children of his own. The couple both share their children with very famous exes.

Thurman was previously married to actor and writer Ethan Hawke, while Busson was with supermodel Elle Macpherson. The couple met last summer and became engaged last week, but there’s no word on an official wedding date just yet.

Rapper Flavor Flav, 49, is giving up on his search for reality television love and settling down with the mother of his child, Liz. Flav and Liz have a son, Karma, together and after three seasons of “Flavor Of Love,” Flav decided to ask Liz to marry him.

During the 3 seasons of Flavor’s reality show the star, who’s real name is William Jonathon Drayton, Jr., lived with groups of sexy women in his mansion. The women created lots of drama as they fought for his attention and affection.

Millions watched weekly as he went on dates, eliminated women from the house and his life, broke some hearts, and gave viewers some laughs along the way.

But in the end it was his search for love (or at least sex) that led him to realize that Liz was the only women for him. In an interview with Flav, he said that none of the 65 girls had the qualities that Liz did., that she was wonderful and a good mother. He also said that Liz deserves the best and of course, that’s exactly what he thinks he is.

I guess if it takes sleeping with a few truckloads of Flav fans brings you back to your true love then it’s worth it, at least for him. As for Flav’s fiance, she didn’t enjoy seeing him with other women on “Flavor Of Love.” She probably won’t enjoy see him with women now that their engaged either, oh well. You can’t have..um..everything.

High School Musical actress, KayCee Stroh got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Ben Higginson over the weekend. Stroh plays the role of fun loving Martha Cox in Disney’s High School Musical series.

KayCee was touched by the romantic proposal which took place on top of a Salt Lake City mountain. After giving his girlfriend a single rose, Higginson in traditional style bent down on one knee to ask KayCee for her hand in marriage.

Ellen DeGeneres,50, and her girlfriend Portia de Rossa, 35, are getting married. The comedian broke the news today during the taping of the “Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

Yesterday the Supreme Court of California made the decision to allow same sex marriage. A fact that most likely fueled the sudden engagement announcement.

Portia de Rossa is currently starring in the television sitcom “Arrested Development,” created by Mitchell Hurwitz, and produced by Ron Howard.

Reynolds began dating Scarlett Johansson after his relationship with singer, Alanis Morissette ended. He recently starred in the romantic comedy “Definitely Maybe.”

Scarlett Johansson recently came in number 6 in FHM magazine’s list of the top ten sexiest females of 2008. The list was based on an online poll, and nearly 10 million voters participated.

She recently appeared in films “The Nanny Diaries” and “The Other Boleyn Girl” She’s also been busy working on a musical career and has an album titled “Anywhere I Lay My Head” scheduled for release on May 20, 2008.
