What’s up with Joshua Jackson? It seems that the actor is content accompanying girlfriend Diane Kruger instead of making movies. While Diane is busy promoting herself in Europe and the United States, Joshua isn’t hurrying to make more than one film a year.

The actress was in Venice with “I’m Not There” cast Richard Gere.

On Friday night, Diane and Joshua were spotted leaving the trendy Waverly Inn in New York City, a restaurant owned by Graydon Carter of Vanity Fair.

Other celebs include the Waverly Inn Habitué Demi Moore. Sisters Jessica and Ashlee Simpson were there too.

Meow! Halle Berry is pregnant!

At 41, this will be her first baby with model Gabriel Aubrey, 32. The actress confirmed last night.

“Yes, I am three months pregnant! Gabriel and I are beyond excited, and I’ve waited a long time for this moment in life.
“Now the next seven months will be the longest of my life!”

According to InStyle magazine, the baby is due on Valentine’s Day. Also, because of Halle’s age and diabetes, the baby will be carefully monitored during the pregnancy.

She is reportedly being treated by a doctor who specializes in high-risk pregnancies.

She and Gabriel have been a pair since 2005.

Her new movie about a drug and racial profiling scandal in Tulia, Texas, has been put off due to her pregnancy.

Though Halle has been married twice–to baseball player David Justice and musician Eric Benet–the couple doesn’t have any plan to take the plunge. She has been burned twice and believes that an official paper doesn’t make any difference on their relationship. It has been documented that the actress had a bad experience with her spouses.

Sir Paul McCartney is on the lookout to replace Heather Mills. After his bitter and costly divorce settlement he expects to enjoy the remaining years of his life. Right. With beautiful younger women. The ex-Beatle doesn’t mind the age difference obviously.

Sir Paul seems to be in a rush to be in love again. Or, the musician is just flirting to make up for the lost time he spent battling with his ex-missus. But old dogs don’t learn new tricks.

After paparazzi caught him slow dancing with Christie Brinkley, the former wife of Billy Joel, it is now Renée Zellweger’s turn!

The two allegedly enjoyed a romantic candlelit dinner last month. Sir Paul, 65, and Renée, who is as old as the Beatle’s eldest daughter, Mary, were seen talking intimately at a table near the fireplace of the exclusive American Hotel restaurant in Sag Harbour, New York.

According to Daily Mail, they greeted each other with a tender hug and embraced again before parting. Sources said that Renée arrived at 8:30 p.m. Sir Paul came in later in order not to be nabbed by curious faces. But he was darn wrong!

One diner said: “The dining rooms are extremely dimly lit, mostly with candlelight. It’s an extremely romantic place to meet. They really looked like they were enjoying themselves.”

The actress has hots for musicians even though she doesn’t have a nice experience with them. Before her short-lived marriage with country singer Kenny Chesney, she was involved with White Stripes singer and guitarist Jack White. But they broke up after she felt he wasn’t ready to settle down.

She divorced Kenny after four months due to incompatibility and Jack is now a happy father of two children and a loving husband to model Karen Elson.

The two were spotted getting cosy at Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers show in The Hamptons on August 25 before they spent an intimate dinner. A friend dismissed the intimacy as nothing serious.

Jude can’t keep his pants on. A pretty boy like him has to have a regular supply of girls, whatever size or background. He shags whoever comes his way. Man!

Guess what, British heartthrob Jude Law was spotted dating a German actress. He flew to Germany just to be with her. The 26-year-old Susan Hoecke, who was born in the former communist part of Berlin, is known in Germany via her teenie TV series, “18: Allein unter Mädchen” (18: Alone amongst the girls”).

According to Daily Mail, Jude, 34, strolled through a park with the starlet and spent a romantic evening together enjoying a cosy candlelit dinner at a trendy Japanese eatery, Shiro I Shiro. Jude played the classy gentleman style after Susan insisted they split the bill two ways.

“Jude and Susan seemed really happy and were pretty tactile with one another,” said an onlooker.

“Over dinner, initially they both appeared pretty nervous and fidgety but, after tucking into a second bottle of wine, they really loosened up, giggling, at times, loudly and uproariously.

“Susan is a strikingly beautiful girl and not surprisingly, Jude could barely keep his eyes off her.”

The two have known each other for two years, when Susan was asked if she was dating Jude.

She might be a complete unknown in Britain and the US, but her TV series is breaking through in the German-speaking world. Susan is said to be a former Miss Germany and has rumoured to have dated Ben Affleck. It was documented that she stayed for half a year in the USA to fulfill her modelling job. Aside from her native German, she also speaks English, Spanish and French.

Susan admits that she loves variation in her relationship:

“I like it being dominant. But If ever I am always the dominant in the affair it becomes boring afterward.”

After the heady Eddie’s paternity test proving that he fathered Spice Girl Melanie Brown’s daughter, Angel Iris, there have been rumours that the two might have a falling-out. Though the producer ever denied this noting that this doesn’t alter the way she loves the actor and insisted that they were very happy.

“The paternity test had no impact on our relationship.”

Last Wednesday the actor confirmed through his publicist that they are now engaged.

No word has been heard from Kimberly Stewart’s newlywed papa, Rod. I might have earned my first hate comment a month ago after a fan was truly convinced that their favourite Pacey Witter off “Dawson’s Creek,” aka actor Joshua Jackson, and the German beauty Diane Kruger ended their one-year relationship after the latter was seen hanging out with Anjelica Huston’s nephew Jack.

Well, well, well, it looks like the two are still together. And, yes, I admit I am no Perez Hilton because I rarely use him as a source. Freaking Austrian gossip sites.

The photographers caught a glimpse of Diane and Joshua holding hands as they headed to the cocktail party hosted by Alberta Ferretti, a famous Italian designer and dressmaker, yesterday at Cannes. They joined noted Italian stars and other celebs at the yacht.

Diane was this year’s Cannes’ master, dare I say mistress, of ceremony. She handed the much coveted Palme d’Or to Romanian director Cristian Mungiu for his movie about abortion, “4 Luni, 3 Saptamini si 2 Zile (4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days),” together with Jane Fonda.

“I don’t want to do a white-trash wedding with a big belly.”

Milla Jovovich has admitted after finding out that she is four months pregnant. She and longtime partner Paul W.S. Anderson, producer and director, decided to put their wedding off. It was reported that the two were planning to tie the knot this year. They were engaged in March 2003.

Even though the marriage is cancelled the Ukrainian-born model has no qualms increasing her weight. After all, it’s all about the baby. The 31-year-old Milla admits she cannot stop eating and even enjoying every part of it. And it doesn’t matter if it is unhealthy.

“I starve for unhealthy things and I cook like mad–steaks and these potatoes I have learned from my mother.”

If she does not cook or worries around the business, she puts her nose into books.

“I have spoken with friends, who have children. I begin pregnancy yoga and I have read many books. Including ‘Coping with Preschool Panic’ (in it the readers are prepared how to fight for the best preschool availability for children in L.A.).”

These days not only Milla is proud showing her protruding tummy but also what she and her friend Carmen Hawk have achieved after launching their own designed collection of clothes last month. A limited edition is also for sale at the Mango stores.

This will be the first child for both Milla and Paul, who began dating in 2002. The two met when they did “Resident Evil.”

Milla was married to her “Fifth Element” director, Luc Besson, for two years, until they divorced in 1999.

Sienna Miller and her boy toy Jamie Burke were spotted at Pastis, a French bistro in New York on Sunday. The British It girl and the model met in one of the parties celebrating her film, “Factory Girl,” a story about one of Andy Warhol’s girls Edie Sedgwick.
Sienna, who wore an airy tunica under black leggings, held Jamie’s hand as her lover lead her to the trendy bistro.
Meanwhile, the British actress and Keira Knightley who are starring together for “The Edge of Love” provoked their film crew by planting a “racy kiss” on each other off the set. It was initially reported that the reason Lindsay Lohan backed out is due to lesbian/threesome scenes that are rumoured to be included on the screen.
Film publicist Emma Davie said: “Yes, it’s true, Sienna and Keira have kissed but it won’t be in the film. It was done as a joke on Monday, the first day of filming. Sienna and Keira thought it would be funny to do it and we cannot believe the press missed it. They did it at the end of the day when it began to rain. The paparazzi must have gone home by then.”

I still remember when Emma Thompson, a couple of years after getting one for her “Sense and Sensibility,” announced that she and then hubby Kenneth Branagh were splitting up.
And then there is the case of Halle Berry, who had a difficult lovelife with her sex-starved partner. And later, it was the turn of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Philippe to break up and shatter their family life.
Fortunately, Gwyneth Paltrow got hers before she was involved with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
Unfortunately, Hilary Swank didn’t escape the curse. Forgetting to thank her husband Chad Lowe in 2000 after receiving her first Oscar for “Boys Don’t Cry” might be an omen of things to come. After nine years of marriage, the two got divorced.
Either that or their men didn’t really approve of their partners’ sudden success. Just like Hilary’s admission that Chad wasn’t comfortable with hers.
Nevertheless, it is good to know that “The Reaping” star and her agent-cum-lover John Campisi are having fun together. Opening up for the first time about her new life through In Touch via Female First, the 33-year-old actress says:

She is even thinking of starting a family and babies will complete her world.

“I definitely want to have babies one day! They bind together and change the whole life.”

Though I am advising her to slow down and kick off this habit of method acting if she wants to have children. The determined actress is known to risk her health for the sake of acting. She has been diagnosed having “elevated mercury” in her sytem due to a strict diet when preparing for a role.

Meanwhile, Kiki’s beau had a heart-to-heart talk with the magazine divulging the love affair between him and the star during a press event in Los Angeles to promote his band’s new single, “America.”

“I’m not hiding anything. We met in Los Angeles. We were hanging out at South by Southwest and we’ve been hanging out eversince… I don’t think there’s any rules behind it. If you fall you fall. In life that’s what you do. You follow the things that you can’t resist and you go where you go. That’s falling in love.”

Kirsten, who wore a black dress, was alone in Leicester Square for the London premiere of her new movie, “Spiderman,” the third installment in the Marvel comic book series. She was joined on the red carpet by her co-star Tobey Maguire. Later Kirsten and Johnny met up in Camden pub, The Hawley Arms, after the premiere for a late-night drinking session.
It was said that the actress looked wasted after partying with her rock star lover.
A friend of the actress also told People that the two indeed split up for a while. “There was a little breakup, but it resolved very quickly. They’re really, really into each other… It’s like googly love!”

The pretty 30-year-old Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira, whose real name Shakira Isabel Mebarak Rippoll, is having a a ball right now.
Not only she is is successful with her career having released her second English-language album, “Oral Fixation Vol. 2” in 2005 and doing a series of world tour, but she enjoys the companionship of her fiance, Antonio de la Rua, to the delight of her future father-in-law, the deposed president of Argentina, Fernando de la Rua who said a year (ago of the prospective daughter-in-law: “They prefer to wait. Kids today would rather live as a couple, they don’t believe that marriage is necessary to be happy. Shakira is a very good woman, she is very loving to her parents and with her in-laws as well.”
Shakira and Antonio, a lawyer and a paparazzi-magnet even before he was committed to the singer due to his chaotic life and women, began dating in 1999 and have been engaged since March 2001.

The latest actress who will join the long list of directors who fall in love with their actors is Rose McGowan and Robert Rodriguez.
The two went completely all the way when filming “Grindhouse.” Robert Rodriguez allegedly left his wife of 17 years Elizabeth Avellan after the latter discovered Rose and Robert were having an affair.
While on the set one source told New York Post’s Page Six that “it was the worst-kept secret on the set. They were going off to his trailer, having meals together. Rose thought some of the crew were treating her differently, and the attitude was, like, well what do you expect when you’re [bleeping] the director?”
Naturally when Elizabeth, who co-produced all of Robert’s films including the latest flick, which is said to be a homage to sex and violence films of the 1970s, went ballistic. “There was an eruption of emotions–an emotional volcano.” So far, while Rose and Robert kept a low-profile on their romance, he and Elizabeth separated amicably out of love for their children.

Before Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton fell in love on the set of “Planet of the Apes,” the British actress had a long-term relationship with Kenneth Branagh. Tim once was married to a German artist, Lena Gieseke but was divorced shortly after “Batman Returns.”
Since 2001 Helena hasn’t stopped appearing in all of his movies. The two had a son Billy Ray, who was born in 2003.
According to Helena, she suspected that the director might have suffered by a form of autism.
“Tim will kill me, but while making this drama (a TV movie in which she played a mother of autistic children), I realized he actually has a bit off Asperger’s in him. You start recognizing the signs”, she said.
“They (autistic people) have application and dedication. You can say something to Tim when he’s working and he doesn’t hear you”, the actress added. “But that quality also makes him a fantastic father; he has an amazing sense of humor and imagination. He sees things other people don’t see. Billy is enchanted by him.”

Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes–Despite rumours that Kate was in love with an Australian man, she married Sam in Anguilla in the Carribean in 2004. The two met about five months after Kate got divorced with husband and director Jim Threapleton. They have a daughter Mia Honey. The press blamed Sam for the divorce and quickly jumped to the conclusion that the two had an affair. “Obviously we didn’t, but the tabloids claimed that I was swanning around, going to premieres left and right, and that I didn’t even live with my daughter.”
According to Kate, former husband Jim was not supportive of her career. “Jim didn’t want me to be famous. He would read a script and immediately kill my passion for it by saying it wasn’t good enough for me. That was the only time that I’ve ever lost control of my instincts,” the actress was quoted saying.

For obvious reasons, most of the new celebrity couples don’t want the public to know that they are really dating. So they try to hard to deny and hide from the mighty paparazzi’s cameras. But often, it doesn’t work as the truth always comes out anyway.
Take for instance, Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson. Finally the two are ready to admit that they are having an affair. Thanks to Owen’s brother Luke who dished out what’s really behind their closeness for months after the two started to work together and Kate eventually dumping former husband Chris Robinson.
People calls it playing cool.
Owen’s brother told the rag about his brother’s choice, “He seems very happy and “[Kate] is a very nice girl.”
After several denials and instances of hiding from the public 27-year-old Kate and Owen, 38, are openly enjoying each other’s company recently. In Australia this year where Kate was working on the movie “Fool’s Gold,” the pair shared bike rides and walks on the beach.

I was eating dinner with a girlfriend at a restaurant called The Clay Pit in Brentwood on Friday night (March 30). I was sitting close to the front and I saw a Toyota Camry pull up outside driven by a male and he dropped off a female into the restaurant. Then to my surprise, in comes little Reese Witherspon looking totally cute.
She picked up some food for takeout and while she was doing that, I stared at the person in the Camry. I recognized instantly that it was Jake Gyllenhal! When she came back out to the car, he got out and opened the door for her and was shielding his face so that no one would see him but it was definitely him!!! I couldn’t believe it! I knew you said that they were dating but now I know for sure that they are!!!! Yipee!!!

People, on the other hand, mentioned that that they were spotted on March 23 dining with two other couples at Los Angeles’ Il Sole.

“They were cuddling,” an observer tells Peple in its new issue. “It looked very playful.”

Sources close to Jake confirmed that he is into kids and prefers a homebody lifestyle. Reese as a family woman is square when it comes to night-outs unlike the actor’s ex-girlfriend Kirsten Dunst, who doesn’t have any problem partying up all night. The young actress is presently enjoying Razorlight’s Johnny Borrell’s company.
If that’s true then he woudn’t mind Reese having two children from her previous marriage. His new role as an uncle might be a good reason to hang out with Ava and Deacon.
