Not all movie stars want to have a battalion of guests on their wedding day. Because of this Ioan Gruffudd fears that he might offend some of their friends by de-listing some of them on one of the most important dates of his life: his wedding to Alice Evans.

“We’ve invited too many people who have all said they’re coming so we’re going to have to uninvite some guests, which won’t be easy.”

The Welsh Ioan, whose latest film is “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer,” is set to marry his fiancee the British actress Alice Evans in September. He admitted that he has overbooked the guest list and will have to cut some out of the ceremony.

The two first met on the set of “102 Dalmatians.” Her former boyfriend is Pablo Picasso’s grandson, Olivier, who shared eight years with the Francophile actress.

“I had a fantastic relationship with Olivier and would have married him if he’d asked me, but he didn’t.”

Afraid that Ioan might repeat the same mistake of Alice’s former boyfriend, he did propose before the affair would last. Ioan in 2005 after the engagement said:

“My girlfriend and I have been together for five years. We met while shooting ‘102 Dalmatians.’ We’ve lived together for the past two years and certainly if I don’t ask her within the next couple of years I’ll be out on my ear.”

Dougray Scott and Claire Forlani are one of those couples in Hollywood you would never thought could hook up.

Last Friday the two tied the knot in a private civil ceremony. It was a quiet event attended by 100 guests, mostly by their friends and relatives.

It’s been awhile since I have seen both actors on the big screen. In the late ’90s they were considered to be bankable and shooting stars. In early 2000 Dougray, whose real name is Stephen Scott, was rumoured to be the next James Bond. I always like him in those movies “Ever After,” a feminist/PC Cinderella, and “Mission Impossible,” he was Tom Cruise’s personal choice. Claire, meanwhile, was groomed to be the girl next door casting next to Brad Pitt and Joshua Jackson. Though it was the film “Basquiat,” whom she is very proud of.

These days he is known as Ian Hainsworth, the love interest of Teri Hatcher’s character in “Desperate Housewives.” While Claire can be seen in “CSI: NY.”

They met through a mutual friend in 2006. One source close to the couple on the wedding day said:

“They’re both very excited.

According to People, “Forlani wore a custom-made strapless gown with a ‘classic, Old Hollywood feel’ by designer Junko Yoshioka for Bonaparte-NY, says the source. She completed her look with a crystal hair pin by Swarovski and Jimmy Choo heels.”

The small gathering took place in Italy. No wonder, Ms Forlani, 35, is half Italian through her father, Pierluigi, who helped the bride to plan her wedding in Italy.

He told Italian newspaper Il Resto del Carlino that, at the reception at the family’s country home in Pievebovigliana, “I will be the official cook of the event.”

Last September, the 41-year-old Dougray proposed to Claire in Los Angeles by presenting a ring he designed.

“It was very romantic. I feel so lucky to have met her. She’s an amazing actress and human being. I’m very happy.”

This is going to be Dougray’s second marriage. His first wife was Sarah Trevis, a casting director whom he has two children. While this is Claire’s first. She was rumoured to have dated actors Benicio del Toro, John Cusack, Brad Pitt and Ben Stiller in the past.

Oh, no. They are not a new couple. It is just surprising that these two were on the same event a few days ago at the MTV Movie Awards.

After Dreamgirl Beyonce Knowles’ dismal performance in Austria’s capital Vienna a month ago, which according to the local press “boring” (the concert) and “snobbish” (Beyonce), several press articles came out that she isn’t thinking of settling down at this moment in her career.

The singer even insisted that the media wouldn’t get any juicy stories from her as she is keen on shutting her mouth when it comes to her private life.

“I keep my personal life to myself and it is what it is. And even my personal life - because I don’t talk about it, people try to start things to make me talk about it. They say, ‘Oh well, if we say something’s going wrong, then maybe she’ll talk about it, and then we’ll get to find out.’ But I’m smarter than that - I already know the tricks!”

But recently, Beyonce, who is said to be the new face of Giorgio Armani’s new fragrance, Emporio Armani Diamonds, has reportedly accepted her boyfriend’s marriage proposal.

Hip-hop mogul Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, cancelled several US promotional appearances for his Roc-A-Fella empire and flew out to France over a week ago to surprise Beyonce with a romantic break in Cannes, where he allegedly asked the singer to marry him.

One source, yes the sources, confirmed that Beyonce, who is currently in Europe as part of her world tour, accepted the proposal. The same source said that the rapper has promised her “the biggest diamond she can fit on her finger.”

“This will be the hip-hop wedding to end all hip-hop weddings.”

Beyonce might not talk about her lovelife in public but she admitted a long time ago that she wants to get married someday.

“I want to get married and really want a family–in a perfect world I’d have two boys and a girl. You know someone loves you by the way he treats you and respects you. Me and Jay respect each other.”

It is rumoured that they are eyeing to tie the knot in Hawaii later this year.

Love moves in mysterious ways, so they say. Therefore we see people fall in love beyond the colour of their skin, their nationality, hair colour, creed and ages.

But lust encompasses everything. That means you lose your mind, your reasoning, if you are under its spell.

With bad news and literature surrounding us and accounts of pedophilia or rape or sexual abuse/exploitation on minors are in them, it is just normal to react whenever we see older men and very young girls holding hands together. For Anthony Kiedis of Red Hot Chili Peppers, it is time to shape up. It appears that the life with drugs, wild fun and orgy, the pitfalls of fame is over. Sespite their shaky start, the two have managed to stay together. Even their female followers think that he is not the marrying type. Some of them call Heather prude and even martyr for forgiving the singer. It could be that having a child might be the reason of the tattooed singer’s mellowing and finds settling down with Heather not a bad idea.

Thus, the new Kiedis. He lives in L.A. but not Hollywood. He prefers his Vespa to his Harley. (“Not as fast, but quieter and I can write songs while I ride.”) And as far as music goes, Kiedis’s tastes have broadened if not mellowed. “I’ll listen to anything now,” he says. “I even try to keep an open mind for simple pop music, which I used to make a living detesting.”

What would you do if your dear grand husband forbids you to go for a beauty lift? Would you divorce him? Accuse him of ruining your life? Escape to the nearest woods? Or just go for it without asking him what his thoughts about the topic?

“I have a permanent baby belly after having Coco and I have issues with getting older. I obsess over the changes. David has a huge problem with surgery, but I don’t.”

Courteney gave birth to Coco in 2004 and would like to have another via in vitro fertilisation that entails blood tests, which Courteney has already had.

The actress sat down with Marie Claire magazine and related how she isn’t really ready for the second, but…

“I’ll probably do it one more time. I’m planning to do IVF again. I used to want to have eight kids. It was such a fantasy when I was younger, because my mother, who was an only child, had four kids. Now, looking back, I don’t understand how she did it.”

She admitted that she suffered from post-natal depression and compared having a baby is as hard as waking up very early.

“I think the baby part–like waking up early–is hard. Really hard. Do I believe in post-natal depression? Yes. Did I have the worst case of it? No. Women have hormones. It’s not easy and as we get older, it gets harder. But there’s ways to deal with it and stay in balance. I don’t believe there’s anything wrong with therapy. Post-natal depression can be devastating. Luckily, I was able to get through it.”

After the press accused superstar Tom Cruise of “house-arresting” his own wife Katie Holmes, it looks like his little family is having the best times of their lives.

Despite nasty reports of marital problems and Tom’s control freak behaviour, which spawned even a mock website and hordes of anti-Tom Cruise critics among the public and the media, Kati Holmes told Entertainment Tonight when asked if she is ready to have more kids with the actor. The 28-year-old Katie replied: “Yes, definitely.”

It is not a secret that she and husband her 44-year-old hubby “have spent the year since Suri was born largely out of the spotlight.”

“We’re having the best time, it’s so amazing.”

Meanwhile, Tom reportedly blew £50,000 on a custom-made motorcycle and lately, bought a home for his family that cost close to $35 million in Beverly Hills, California.

Their home is a traditional-style residence built in 1937 with seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, according to real estate sources not involved in the deal. Behind the gates, a 1.3 acres, it has a tennis court and a pool.

Robbie Williams might be disillusioned when it comes to dating in US’ Los Angeles by complaining that the city of angels is a bit tad “shallow and disappointing.” But it seems he found an American woman to embody the girl of his dreams through TV actress Ayda Field. The two are rumoured to be dating for nearly two months.

According to a source close to Robbie the actress didn’t have any idea that he is the famous singer from the other side of the globe even though she said in one of her interviews that she always frequents to Europe. Whatever. Robbie liked the fact that she “had absolutely no idea who he was.”
